We celebrated mass together, and we have had fun getting to know each other through some ice breaker games like “Heads Up 7Up,” and “Wah.” We have also learned how to play “Silent Ball,” and “Who Changed the Motion?” But we’ve done a lot more than just play games.

We also got our math program underway, and brainstormed a bunch of ways that math is connected to our everyday lives. We created a bulletin board outside of our room with pictures of us doing things at home that involve math. In our pictures, some of us are cooking, playing dice games, counting money, measuring building materials, and even doing gymnastics moves! Math is EVERYWHERE! |
What are you most looking forward to this year?
