ISS
Do you ever wonder where the astronauts live when they get in space, well they stay aboard the ISS. The ISS stands for the international space station where Russians, Americans and Canadians stay in space. The ISS orbits the Earth 16 times a day. When it orbits Earth in that 16 times it uses 20 kilograms of fuel. That weight is about yourself. Do you know any information about the Sun?
Sun
Do you think our Sun is a planet? Well it’s actually called a star. The Sun is made up of mostly gases. Did you know that if a space shuttle that has our strongest medal on Earth, can still melt if it goes close to the Sun? That’s because the Suns surface is about 10 million degrees Celsius. The core is about 27 million degrees Celsius. Also NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN because it will damage your eyes. The only people that can look at the sun is NASA. They have very powerful machines to do so.
