About Sloths
Hmm I want to know about sloths. Wow did you know that sloths have algae attached to their fur? Algae is the green stuff in water that smells horrible and makes the surface slippery when it is wet. Also, sloths sleep for 20 hours a day WOW! If I was a sloth I would not be able to go to school YES! Sloths are the slowest mammal because they are drowsy and when they’re awake; they barely move. Think of us: we move a lot every day. If we feel tired we better get moving!
What do sloths look like?
A sloth’s toes have giant curved claws. Their body is about 50 to 75 cm tall and they weigh about 4 to 8 kg. They’re dirty grayish brown in colour, and often have dark black or brown markings around their eyes. They also have round heads, sad looking eyes, tiny ears, and stubby tails.
Where is the sloth’s habitat?
The sloths live in the tropical forests of central and south America where ever there are trees. The trees are there home they live in them and of course they sleep in the trees. These trees are a home to animals like the sloths live there and because we are cutting down these trees these animals' habits are being destroyed and these animals will become extinct.
These sloths are so cute. Just look at this picture of this sloth.
